Warrior Wednesday

Aug 12, 2020

It’s Wednesday. Hump Day. The indicative week day that reminds us that we are halfway through the week. Wednesday’s have always held a special place in my heart. Growing up, Wednesday nights always meant youth group. They meant getting to learn more about God with all of my closest friends. My best friend and I would always find each other in the halls and scream “It’s Wednesday!!!” and run and hug each other because we were so excited about youth group. If I am being honest, back then, it was a bit of an excuse to spend time with my friends, but every Wednesday night when we crammed into the worship hall and began to worship, it set my soul on fire.

Thus, I want to introduce Warrior Wednesday. Every Wednesday, I want to create a war room. A space where we can join as a group and pray for each other. I want us to join in prayer for the rest of the week as one. I want us to be prayer warriors for each other. I don’t know about you, but I have a group of friends that are my warrior’s. I know that when I need prayer, I can reach out to them and they have me covered and vice versa. I can feel their prayers surrounding me. The bible says in Matthew 18:20 “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” I want to gather together as a tribe with each other and stand together as prayer warrior’s.

Every Wednesday, I will post a place on social media for you to post your prayer requests. You can comment with one word, a sentence, a paragraph, tag me in your stories or you can privately message me. Whatever you feel comfortable with. If you want it to be confidential, I promise that I will keep it to myself. If not, we can band together and pray for one another. You will comment your prayer request and then choose the people you want to add to your prayer list and commit to praying for them. We will fight for each other. We will lift each other’s needs up in prayer. Let’s pray yall! Happy Warrior Wednesday friends. Let’s worship our beautiful creator!
